The Mahatma Gandhi Museum in Rajkot, formerly Alfred High School, was established on October 17, 1853, with 36 students. Mahatma Gandhi graduated from this school in 1887. In 2018, the historic building was transformed into the Mahatma Gandhi Museum, to honor Gandhi’s legacy on his 150th birth anniversary. The museum features interactive exhibits showcasing his life, principles, and contributions to India’s freedom struggle, making it a center for learning and inspiration.
